A couture wedding dress designer to the rich and famous, Lexi LaCroix’s image means everything. But crossing paths with a sexier-than-sin, bad-boy biker makes Lexi realize how much living she’s sacrificed for her success and one touch is all it takes to threaten her carefully choreographed life. When that touch fills far more than just Lexi’s physical needs, she finds herself torn between the career she needs and the bad-boy she craves.
Sometimes fun. Sometimes naughty. Always romantic.
I am a New York Times Bestselling Author writing under the pseudonym Skye Jordan for my more … sexually heated … works.
My Skye Jordan novels are all about enjoying that little wild streak we all have, but probably don’t let out often enough. About those fantasies we usually don’t get the opportunity to indulge. About stretching limits, checking out the dark side, playing naughty and maybe even acting a little wicked. They’re about escape and fun and pleasure and romance.
And, yes, even love. Because even as Skye Jordan I’m just a happily ever after kinda gal.
SCOOP: Hey, guess what? THIS PERSON seems to know who Skye Jordan is! Wanna know who? According to her, (Since I really have no idea) Skye Jordan is also known as Joan Swan, sounds familiar? She’s a USA Today bestselling author of passion, danger and suspense, and some of her books are the Phoenix Rising series and Covert Affairs series!

Now, to the book, this is the kind of book that I actually won’t judge the storyline because it is cliche/mainstream/stereotype. All the usual things. I won’t because this is Jax and Lexi’s story. Period. That’s it. Nuh-uh, shut it. It is theirs. I don’t care whether I’ve read this kind of story before, Jax wasn’t there, Lexi wasn’t there, Rubi wasn’t there, no. For me, characters are the most important element of a story and so, no questions asked, I LOVE THIS.
Let me tell you one story: I read this on my laptop, and I was just laying there (uncomfortable positions, it seems like, because my shoulder still hurts) and then the plug came off, BOOM! My laptop involuntarily died. I thought for two seconds: Should I sto- I need to read the rest, screw sleep. And booted my laptop up again.
This is the kind of story where you enter to live, not to judge.
The characters were annoyingly perfect and cliche profiled, and hard not to love.
The plot was, pretty cliche. I’m saying it.
It was every story you’ve read before but the thing is, different characters. More like, different names.
This could all be better if the beginning was explored more, and been given more development to have that unique touch everyone is looking for in a book. It was there, honestly, but then as I said, it would be better if that was more developed.
Jax and Lexi’s story is definitely, uhm, passionate, explorative, and daring.
There’s no such word as explorative
So, if you’re looking for a simple, short, fun, loving, hot, passionate, and lovable characters,
plus a new book boyfriend go and get this now!
