When my first-grade teacher asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I replied, “An author.” Although I have pursued other interests over the years, this dream has never wavered.
I graduated from Harvard University, magna cum laude, with an A.B. in English Literature and Language. I received my J.D. at Yale Law School, where I was an editor of the YALE LAW JOURNAL. I published an article in the YALE LAW JOURNAL, entitled, “How Judges Overrule: Speech Act Theory and the Doctrine of Stare Decisis,” and received the Barry S. Kaplan Prize for best paper in Law and Literature.

OKAY GUYS, THAT ENDING.
I remember back when we just revealed the cover for this book and look where it is now. I’m getting emotional someone help me
ANYWAY
My goodness. THIS BOOK. THIS BOOK JUST KILLED ME. Okay, I’ll start with the ending.
The ending was… predictable if you’re reading this book right. Yes, I saw that coming, but still, this hurts you know. Honestly, I kinda forgot about the fact that this is part of a series and so now you have a better understanding on why I, acting like this. You see, that ending really hurts. It kills.
Forget Tomorrow is written in Callie’s POV in first person and the ending hurts so bad. I mean, this book is genius and had that touch of cliche-ness. I mean, I think there’s only so much that I’ve read set in dystopia and they all had the same feeling. Maybe a few more books, and I’ll be able to name this something but for now, let’s settle for that. But let’s focus on this book. Memories. From the future. FOR REAL, YOU GUYS. And Psychics. FOR REAL. Psychics in this book are a huge deal. You know, with the technological advancement and all, people kinda ran out of things to study so why not maximize the potential of the human brain? It’s insane and with every book like this, I just hope that human race don’t evolve into these monsters.
The characters, well there were like just the two of them half of the time sooo… Well, Callie is pretty much her own self through out the whole book. There was no major character development or even a change in her. And I’m fine with that. She’s good as she is but there’s always room for improvement. OKAY MAYBE NOT IN HER. Okay, my last sentence is a spoiler. And then there’s Logan. Oh my Logan. He’s kinda ultimately substantial… He exists but he doesn’t. He had a huge role but I can’t feel him all the time. He’s too evasive, too out of reach, too much of everything. But to be fair, there were moments when he would be alive and the world would be sparkling and the birds would be chirping because when he’s alive, love is alive.
The writing was impressive. I love the writing. I love how every chapter starts. I love everything about the words, the sentences, the chapters, omg. The writing is so great you’ll literally just breathe everything in. This was a very easy read for me. And seriously, once you start, you never stop. And what you have read cannot be unread.
And you can always change your future. It’s not for anyone else to decide. Only you have the power to make your future.
