During the day, Ryleigh is an analyst, but even then, she’s writing, sneakily crafting scenes on post-it notes. She’s been told she’s a bit of a geek…some say nerd. She’ll agree to it all. She loves music. It’s been a force in her life for as long as she can remember. Her love of Star Wars and superheroes has probably been going on just as long…see, this is where the geek/nerd thing comes into play. But, most of all, Ryleigh loves the written word. She’s been writing for a long time. Her first story came to her during one of her history classes. She wrote it in the margins of her notebook in teeny tiny letters so no one knew that she was writing a book instead of taking notes on 16th Century Europe. She currently lives in Chicago, Illinois, with her husband and son, along with her Siberian Husky, Mick Jagger, and her cat, Winston Churchill.
OKAY I’M IN LOVE.
Honestly, I read this too long ago I don’t know what to say anymore. But at the same time, it feels like I just finished this book. Do you know that feeling when just by hearing the title of the book that you love so much, you actually get butterflies?! Because that’s exactly what’s happening to me right now. Like, butterflies swarming around and warming my heart and this book giving me extreme feels all over again.
One thing that you should know about this is that you have to be free on the time that you’re going to read this. Or that nobody will be mad at you for tuning out for like, a few hours. BECAUSE ONCE YOU’RE IN, YOU’RE NEVER GOING OUT. This book literally swallowed me up. I was in a reading slump before I started reading this and this saved my life.
LOVE. LIFE. KIDS. HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
We all know that Mia and Ethan’s story is not a smooth ride.
HOLD ON I’M FEELING TOO MUCH RIGHT NOW. And even through this third book, that is still the case. I love that about this series. Love is never about just sparkles and glitters and hearts all the damn time. Problems happen. Time happen. Distance happen. Misunderstanding happen. What matters is that the two of you overcome those stuff.
I remember when I was reading this (I was on a love scene part). I was at school and short story shorter, I was able to convince my friend (a dude) to read the series. Well, I kinda spoiled him about the ending because he asked me about it and I kinda lost my mind because WHY WOULD YOU EVEN ASK ME WHEN I JUST FINISHED IT AND I’M SO HAPPY OF COURSE I’LL TELL YOU BECAUSE I’M NOT IN MY RIGHT STATE OF MIND!!?!
Well, I kinda already spoiled you too.
Also, you have to be ready for extreme feels. You know, the usual. When did Ryleigh ever write a book without the feels??? She’s cruel and great and lovely and a rockstar that way.
At this point, you know everything about the characters and I can only tell you that it’ll be a messy rollercoaster ride again so put on your seatbelts because there’s no way you’re falling off or getting out midway through this book. YOU CAN’T. YOU WON’T WANT TO.
Overall, this book made me cry, seduced the slump out of me, and made my life better. Happy ever exists. And just because you made a few (maybe even a little more than few) or you think life is most horrible thing that ever happened to you, happiness is waiting right at the corner. It’s your choice to go make that turn or cross the road or go back. If there’s anything, that’s what this series taught me. People stay for a reason. And if you think you messed too many times to count already and they’re still around, you’re meant to be. Just because you effed up a little too much doesn’t mean you’re not worth it.
And love, when real, never ends.
And your true love is someone you’ll never get over.
